English

Orchids are one of the species of flowers that I like the most, they have a great variety, currently there are approximately 2500 varieties, belonging to the largest group of plants known as Orchidaceae; These plants are perennial, that is, they last forever (with good care). In fact there are many things that maybe you did not know, but the smell of vanilla comes from one of these beautiful plants, a species known as Vanilla Planifolia, very seen in Central America.

Commonly we see these beautiful plants in gardens, but the reality is that wildly they tend to grow on other plants, like many mushrooms; so it is considered "parasitic" as these produce photosynthesis and therefore feeds on nutrients from the plant where it is. Now I tell you, I went to an exhibition of these plants and I came across some very nice ones, I made them a funny edition but I will also give you the description of each one (I hope to have the correct information).

Vanda Orchid

Vandas orchids are a genus that contains more or less 60 species of orchids, are native to the Asian Sudestes, such as the Himalayas, Australia (north) and the Philippines. This is also known as the orchid of Singapore, it can grow on trees, rocks and even directly on the ground.
