Before the Wedding Feast - Micro-fiction
Here is my 50-word short story for this week's story prompt of "feast."
Before the Wedding Feast
Daisy polished a glass and placed it at the bride’s place on the head table. The guests would come soon, then the bride and groom in a grand entrance.
She ensconced herself in a white tablecloth and sorrowfully observed her reflection in a window. Always a caterer, never a bride.

Wow! What a heartfelt and a bit sad story. It remains only to believe that Daisy will get better in his personal life and she will stop to look out the window with the hope. You are really great writer, @jayna! : )
Thank you, @yurche! I think it can be very difficult for people who never find someone they want to marry. It is the fantasy of many girls to wear a beautiful gown on their wedding day. In this story, I imagined what it must be like for someone who works in the wedding industry and sees her dream come true for others over and over again.
