What Have I Learnt Last Week? | [Learn & Earn] Initiative - Week 7
Here is my entry for the initiative hosted by @matkodurko - LEARN & EARN - Week #7
Let's take a look at a few things I've learnt over the last week:
| Monday: Three new species of Opah were found. Opah is a strange creature recently found to be the first fully warm-blooded fish. | |
| Tuesday: 3 ETH forks will happen in the next few days. On 11 Jan 2019 it's the Classic Vision Hard Fork. On 12 Jan 2019, the Ethereum Nowa Fork. On 16 Jan 2019 it's the Constantinople Mainnet Hard Fork. (If you keep some ETH in your wallets, you'll receive these coins for free... but in this market where every coin seems to be on a race to Zero, I don't know if holding ETH is a smart move.) | |
| Wednesday: I've found out about a new Musical Instrument, thanks to @lady-idra's post: Penumbra Musici - Lur; What is a lur? A lur or lur horn is a wind instrument cast in bronze dating to the Late Bronze Age (c. 1000 BC). | |
| Thursday: After years of playing Red Dead Redemption on the PS3, I've found out that, while you're riding a horse, the R2 button makes the horse brake. How the heck have I played it for so long without using the brakes? Arrrrggghhhh! | |
| Friday: Thanks to the TV program Орёл и Решка I've learnt a new word in Russian: Акула means Shark. | |
| Saturday: Once again thanks to the TV program Орёл и Решка, I've found out that Gloves for holding Beer Cans and Bottles is a real thing. |
