Today’s question from @dragosroua is - What’s your favorite morning drink? Why?

I realized I do not have a firm morning routine for drinking when I started this post, and I think I need one now!

I have water sitting out everywhere and grab it for a sip as I pass it by, take a break, almost spill it and the like. Some of the water has baking soda in it and some has watered down fruit juice. I might just keep drinking the water or maybe make something hot. I might have barley water or some kind of root water I made. I also have bone broth and sometimes I start with that. And usually there are any number of juices in the fridge so it might be that.

All of them are my favorite and none of them are my favorite. I'm just drinking them.

I feel unsettled now but not thirsty.

Since mid-December 2017 I have been on a liquid diet – 60-100% of the time depending on the day and what I have. I’m lucky that I have many choices of healthy drinks, readily available and inexpensive here in Bangkok.

The only issue I have with drinks are:

  • the weight to haul them in to my apartment with my weak old self.
  • the inability to open many of them with my weak old self.

Thankfully, the 7-11 staff kindly provide help with opening bottles for me and I often get help from people randomly when I’m carrying heavy loads around.

That’s a lot of juice, collagen and broth, and it is heavy for me to carry, but very worthwhile.

Anyone can lose weight if I did. Just start small and don't quit!

Soaked boiled rice is really good for health..
Need to boiled rice in the evening. And soak it overnight add curd with it and drink in liquid form..

Hi @fitinfun. You are on some kind of autovote from my side. Think it was your advice I followed and it is not set on a high percentage. But at least it happens every day...

I drink a litre of cold water before I do anything else in the morning. Been doing this for two years now. Works magic.

That's a new one on me, but I'm going to put some water in the fridge and try it. I usually drink room temperature. Thank you for the tip. And many, many thanks for the auto-vote. You are exactly right about the percentage and your vote will certainly keep growing. You should get good curation results from me I hope since I boost my posts after the auto-voting.

Some people will strongly recommend that you drink water at room temperature and NOT cold. But cold is what makes it drinkable for me.

I used to struggle with a dry throat whenever I spoke to audiences and ended up coughing halfway through. Now I am properly hydrated and can carry on for as long as I need to.

How come you are mostly on a liquid diet?

I picked up something intestinal back in August 2017. I was really bloated and sick feeling all through the fall. So I decided to try the liquid diet to see if it would help. The jury is still out. I'm going to take some anti-parasite meds to see how that goes. Just getting up my strength for that. I traveled last week - so maybe next week. I've taken them before and it's draining in many ways.

And I'm still bloated now!

No I was not, but thanks to you I went and got some - instant stomach pain and diarrhea - so I most definitely needed to start up with them. I get 4 bottles for 60 cents, so I am on it.

My favorite morning drink is green tea, it's good for health.

My favorite morning drink is chocolate milk for adults. I drink it every morning as part for my breakfast. I will feel energized if i will drink this morning drink. rubelynmacion of krypto

I love chocolate too and have in hot drinks often. I agree about the energy boost. I get raw cacao if I can find it.

I dont have a morning drink .... What and what are needed to get fat... Wanna get fat not much ,, just a bit....

You just have to eat healthy. Do you know your BMI? If you are above 20, you are fine.

Liquid diet I think is very good
