Changelly : an awesome anonymous crypto to crypto exchange
What is Changelly ?
Source : here
When cryptocurrencies first came into the scene with the creation of Bitcoin, a lot of users we're excited about the prospect of transferring value between individuals anonymously.
Fast forward 10 years later and a lot of exchanges, points where cryptocurrencies are transacted ask for a lot of details before allowing you full access to their platform.
In this cocoon of ID verification, Changelly has stood tall as one of the best anonymous ways to convert one cryptocurrency into another, not yet bowing to pressure from regulators and the likes.
Changelly is an altcoin anonymous exchange, or as I like to call it, a crypto to crypto exchange. What that means is that it allows you to convert one cryptocurrency into another, with very little fees being charged.
The below video goes into some explanation
How to use Changelly
1: Select the coins you wish to convert/change, first the coin you have, second the coin you want (e.g., BTC to ETH, or DASH to EOS, etc.).
2: Make sure to verify the transaction fee.
3: Enter your address to receive your coins/tokens.
4: Confirm, recheck all details and pay.
5: Wait for at least 30 minutes for your coin to arrive, if it's arriving late, wait an extra 15mins before contacting support, it's advisable that you keep the page open throughout the transaction.
That's it! That's how to use Changelly.
Recommendations for improvement
While the exchange is indeed marvelous, it is not without faults, it's fiat to crypto aspect for example is quite expensive, if this could be cut down, then that would be most helpful!.
I actually used Changelly back in the days, around 2016/2017 and I do remember sending Steem to and from Changelly on at least 2 occasions, sad to see that they stopped Steem support, it would be quite awesome to see Steem support again.
To access Changelly fully, some useful links are given below
Well it is quite new to me though i seems to love it
Did they give any reason for stopping steem support? Well like you said, they might support steem again following the momentum that it’s gathering.
