In Support of @Randomkindness' Fundraising for "Baktas Oplan Tsinelas Project" (A Slipper Gift-Giving Project)

A good friend, @meetmysuperego is committed to make the world a better place. She is a Steemian, a nurse public servant in her hometown and she is also involved in many charitable projects by NGOs (Non-Government Organizations). She is one of those people who has a golden heart and has helping others in mind all the time. She has her other account @randomkindness dedicated to rewarding people's exemplary good deeds and in promoting project for relevant social causes.
Last night, despite her busy schedule, she made a post about a fundraising of one of the groups she is involved in. The goal of the project is to provide slippers to less fortunate kids in the far flung barrios of their town. I live 15 kilometers away from her, I am pretty much familiar with her hometown. It is one of the municipalities in the middle part of the Leyte island here in the Philippines. It's a mountain area, in fact, the tallest peak of this region is somewhere around there.

Any help, helps. Please spare some drops of blessings to these less fortunate kids. A slipper or footwears like shoes might be something that's basic for most of us but for some kids in the barrios they are something they only use when they go down to the plains to buy stuff in the market. They usually just run around barefoot so they don't damage their slippers, so they won't have to buy a new pair because that's not a priority in their family's budget. A slipper can be a luxury in these places.
