Enjoy Cafe - Chiang Mai: A small place in Sansai with great company and cheap pizza
While this place is primarily catering to the local Sansai (suburb of Chiang Mai) population, it is a great find for anyone that is passing through (or that lives here) because the place is extremely welcoming to newcomers. This is kind of the epicenter of what makes this place so great. The staff and the patrons encourage this sort of "vibe" that immediately makes people feel welcome and gets everyone involved in having a good time.
This place doesn't look like much from the exterior. It looks kind of unappealing to be honest with you. So much so that I actually rode right past it on several occasions without even going in. However, I am glad that one night I decided to give their pizza a go because it turned out there was a pool tournament going on between two local pubs and a bunch of people were there.
This place (although they don't advertise it) is also a place that hosts board game nights and they maintain an impressive amount of games that brings the people in to play at least 1 night a week. I have only been to one of these and really didn't care for the game that we played but the company was good and I just hope we play something different next time.

The back courtyard seems to be primarily for the smokers as this establishment has a strict no smoking policy indoors, which even though I do indulge in the occasional ciggie, I am happy they have this policy because smoking indoors is just dumb.
Beers are very reasonably priced and they have a very large menu consisting of primarily foreign selections. I got the pepperoni pizza for takeaway and I gotta say, this is the best pepperoni pizza I have had since moving to Chiang Mai... the sauce was just perfect... well, all of it was and at 200B (around $6) it is a great value for a medium pizza.
Overall this is a place that I am delighted exists in near my neighborhood and I can tell already that I am going to be a regular visitor. There aren't a whole lot of options for socializing in my neighborhood, but this one is just perfect for me.
Board games seem quite popular and I am wondering is this a new thing.I have never seen board games in bars or other establishments and it is great idea for getting to know people.
It is new to me as well. According to some friends who live in larger USA cities they have them there, but they struggle to make money because they can't just serve food and drinks because they want to... they have to have all manor of licenses and other such regulatory nonsense like at least two bathrooms and thousands of dollars in kitchen safety equipment etc.
I like the "house" vibe of the place. It seems like it would feel less like going out and more like hanging in a comfy home. This kind of reminds me of tap room near where I live that I was telling you about in another comment. I am glad you found a place with pizza that you can enjoy :)
Board games, beer and pizza, that's all you need xD

The interior of the looks unique and well organized, the place is also serene and calm to relax and based on your finding about the price of their beer and food . I do think this place worth visiting and spending quality time relaxing in
