Does it make sense to punish the three-year-old child

in #child5 years ago

Punishment is not a bad thing, but not for a three-year-old boy, rather for children over five.
Penalties must be given for violation of the rules, and the rules themselves must be accurate, clear, understandable, and spoken on time. To punish is good, depriving the little of something good, not making him do something unpleasant.

The three-year-old punishment system will hardly understand. And the very situations in which it behaves badly can be divided into two groups: it does not deal with anything, and it is a kind of cry for help or protects some of its valuable things.

When we slam it, it's like telling him that looking for help is bad that now it's bad, and that violence is something acceptable. Sending him to the corner or putting him in the chair is quite the same, plus that we're spoiling our relationship. Imagine how the child feels at this moment: it is abandoned, unusual, bad ... On the other hand, parents are bound to define borders, to show that " I know my values and protect them, you know and protect them ."
