why some kids' cartoons are SO SAD?
Have you ever watched a kids animation or tv show, and wonder yourself (while you were crying like a baby and cracking tissues one after another!)
why on hell kids should watch this?!

Even worse, some cartoons are so sad and dark, that you will certainly doubt if they are suitable for your kids to watch! Have you seen "Mary and Max"?
Sure I won't let my child watch that! It is not good for him. Just because it's animation or it's made by pixar or Disney, it doesn't mean my kid can ruin his childhood memory with it!
I'd rather call some of these, darktoon rather than cartoon.

You are right that some of them are very sad but justice usually wins at the end. Maybe is not bad for the kids to learn that life has sad moments also...
Sadness has joy in its deep essence. I can't be so sure that such feeling is thecresult of all those fed to our minds or it's normal!
