Child Bride Immigration, Approved by the U.S. Government

in #children5 years ago (edited)

As much as the U.S. may seem like a bastion of rights and freedom, the treatment towards children is lacking proper moral application. CPS kidnaps local children, but female children also immigrate to the U.S., only to become brides for older men (or pedophiles really).

Legal Child Marriages

Over the past 10 years, there have been thousands of children and teenagers that have been shipped in and approved by the U.S. government for marriage. This is all legal, as the Associated Press reports. The immigration and Nationality Act has no minimum age requirement.

Any marriage that's legal in the home nation, or legal in the state where the children are being "imported" into, is fair game for approval. The AP brings up the issue of the immigration system enabling force marriages. Most states allow children to marry, with some restrictions. Where is the moral backbone of this country? This is what happens when you just take a job for the money, just to get paid. You don't care about what your actions are creating in the world.

The Senate Homeland Security Committee requested and compiled a report in 2017. There were over 5,000 cases of adults petitioning on behalf of minors. And nearly 3,000 minors seeking to bring older spouses or fiances.

Girls as Passports

Lax U.S. marriage laws, and the allure of U.S. passports fuels the influx of children who marry older men. Families of morally lax cultures are forcing children to marry young. Naila Amin is one case. She was forced to marry a 26 year old at age 13. She was a passport to him.

This is disgusting. A family will sell out their daughter to an older man from their originating country, just so he can get a passport for being married to an American. Naila says her life was ruined by her passport and dual citizenship which turned her into a passport.

"I was a child. I want to know: Why weren’t any red flags raised? Whoever was processing this application, they don’t look at it? They don’t think?"

Admitting the Problem

First, visas and green cards are approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) then by the State Department. 3.5 million petitions were received between 2007 and 2017. Republican Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee said "It indicates a problem. It indicates a loophole that we need to close."

It's taken until 2018 to figure this out. No one doing these jobs could be bothered to think and see the problem beforehand? Too busy collecting a paycheck, eh?

There were 5,556 approvals to bring in minor spouses, and 2,926 approvals by minors for minors. Nearly all cases had girls younger than the applicant petitioning. In 149 cases the adult was over 40, and 28 cases of the adult being over 50. One case was of a 71 year old man who was approved for bringing in his 17 year old wife from Guatemala. Over 50 and bringing in a child bride, an no question as to the moral law, not legality, or this whole process. Amazing.

This also happens locally with marriages to young girls, without immigration. In New Jersey, "nearly 4,000 minors, mostly girls, were married in the state from 1995 to 2012, including 178 who were under 15."

Rape and Servitude

Fraidy Reiss, head of a group called Unchained, was herself forced into an abusive marriage by her Orthodox Jewish family. She was 19 at the time, not as young as other cases, but the control over women through these backwards immoral cultural practices is abhorrent. Girls are forced to marry men against their will, at many ages, all by families who supposedly "care" for them. What a farce of a family. Reiss adds:

"They are subjected to a lifetime of domestic servitude and rape. And the government is not only complicit; they’re stamping this and saying."

Most petitions come from Mexico, with Pakistan, Jordan, the Dominican Republic and Yemen to follow. The most approvals are for nationals from the Middle East.

It's one thing for fellow teenager to get married, although young, say at 16 or 17. But other cases are far from acceptable. This seems like pedophilia, being carried out by families themselves, selling off their daughters, and sanctioned by the U.S government?

What do you think about all this?

Thank you for your time and attention. Peace.

My first thought was remembering when I worked briefly many years ago at an ICU ward. It had nothing to do with immigration though. There was a 13 year old girl (who looked about 8) who was in a coma from giving birth. She was a Mexican national married to a wealthy older Mexican man. While I have to acknowledge he was paying for her to get medical care in the U.S., I have to wonder that it never occurred to him that her body was to small to be having children.

She was one of the sadder stories that led me to leave that job quickly.

Yeah, in South America it's still apparently OK to wed a 12 year old. I guess in some places even younger. Women and children still aren't treat properly with moral comprehension in many parts of the world yet. Still living in backwards attachment to traditions.

I'm more concerned with celebrity gossip. Got any good celebrity gossip?

I hear Julia Roberts looked "extra fresh" at the Golden Globes this year!

Would you like to know more?

Yes, so much more important in life. People have their priorities straight :/

The more I learn about the US the less impressed I am unfortunately. This is ‘legal’ pedophelia. It’s gross and hurts a lot of young girls that could have lived great lives if their families and laws hadn’t failed them. Really sorry to hear these numbers - that’s a shocking amount actually, not a few ‘slipped through the cracks’ so to say.

Yeah not a few indeed, quite a lot getting approved. My partner told me someone she knows who is a Canadian citizen, married an American, and she was refused citizenship. A Canadian adult female.

Disgusting and true... sadly. It’s been exposed over and over again and all of the truth is out there, there is the evidence. But it’s ignored but the mainstream. I’ve figured that the truth somehow needs to get into the mainstream as the population is brainwashed by it, so maybe some could be woken from the truth blasted at them 247. Something needs to be done about the evil operations, it bothers me

WE need to hack the mainstream and broadcast hard hitting info. otherwise, people are too immersed into the pleasure trap and entertainment to give a shit.
