WITH CHRIST YOU WILL WALK FROM OBSCURITY TO FAME
When we read 1 chronicles 4:9-10, Hardly will anyone pay the slightest attention to this obscure character whose complete story gets told in the scriptures. The Bible says almost nothing about him (JABEZ) . It only addresses him as more distinguished than any of his brothers. It records that his mother named JABEZ because his birth caused her so much pain and distress
Jabez's destiny would have been as pronounced upon him. He made an earnest prayer. We can from this lesson learn at least three things from this man.

Indeed no man ever identified with Christ and remained hidden. Interestingly, even Christ born in the lowliest of places - manger in Bethlehem became a model for all as we see today. Great post @bigssam
