The instructions in the Scriptures lead to a good life no matter what people's religious beliefs are. Compassion, mercy, healthy living, respect for others, personal development, and everything that makes the world a better place.

It is a wonder, one article I read, that in the US Bibles are available to prisoners but restricted and banned in public schools.

If the US government believes that the Bible is able to help in the so-called "rehabilitation" of the inmates, why not provide it to the very places children are trained and educated to be better citizens when they grow up?

Unfortunately, it's a hard sell and the ones who suffer are the children themselves.

For us who understand and believe in the Bible, make use of this privilege everyday and be a living lesson to the world and a blessing to those around you.

"Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work."
