COMMITMENT TO GOD'S WORD.
God’s Word is full of commands that are meant to protect, preserve and give you life. If God says you should do something, He means you should do it and if He says not to do something, you should not do it. Why should you obey God’s Word? Why should you make the Bible your standard? Because the Bible is dependable, it does not change and it is God's standard. Fads change, opinions change and even science changes. Every other thing changes but God’s Word does not change because the truth never changes.
“I will never lay aside your laws, for you have used them to restore my joy and health.” - Psalm 119:93 TLB.
God’s laws will not change. His laws are immutable.They are unchanging. If you want to get healthy again emotionally, relationally, physically, financially or in any other way, you need to make Jesus Christ the manager of your life. You need to make God’s Word the manual and handbook of your life. Furthermore, you need to make commitments.
“I have made up my mind to obey your laws forever, no matter what” - Psalm 119:112CEV.
And he stated further in Psalm 119:93 thus “I will never lay aside your laws, for you have used them to restore my joy and health” (TLB).
Have you made the commitment to obey God’s laws forever no matter what? God promises to restore your joy and health and lot more. if you do what He says to do and exhibit true meekness, where you let go and let God.
