IF YOU LOVE GOD YOU WILL BE COMMITTED TO HIM.
"So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday ordinary life; your sleeping, eating, going to work and walking around life and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him” - Romans 12:1.
One way you can express your love for God is by being committed to Him. Love is really all about commitment. You do not really love somebody unless you’re committed to their best interest. Nothing significant ever happens in life without commitment. Your commitments determine your future. You become whatever you are committed to. Choose your commitments carefully. If you are committed to the wrong thing, you are going to become the wrong thing.
"For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.” - 2 Chronicles 16:9
You cannot lose by being committed to God. God is looking for people whose hearts are fully committed to Him so that He can bless and use them.
- Giving my life to Jesus Christ.
- Committing my life to His family (the body of Christ, which is the church)and joining a church family.
- Choosing to grow spiritually and become more and more like Jesus Christ everyday in my character.
- Using my talents and gifts to help others.
- Sharing the good news with other people and fulfilling the mission and purpose why God put me on earth.
The aforementioned forms of commitments show that worship is not just something that happens in the four walls of a church building. Worship can happen anywhere "take your everyday ordinary life, your sleeping, eating, going to work and walking around life and place it before God as an offering."
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God this is your true and proper worship." - Romans 12:1.
Help me Lord Jesus to show my love for you by being committed to the things of the kingdom. I receive strength to use my gifts and talents to help others as I share the good news. Amen

Great post
The truth is you can't be on the fence between evil and good and say you love God. You have to be willing to go all in. Commitment is not something that can be achieved fully in one day... It grows on us just like the hair on our skin. If you nurture you skin, your hair looks nourished. Same as our commitment to God. The more we get closer to God by reading his word, the more we would find ourselves being committed. At this point, it just comes easy. Be careful not to falter though, the devil is always waiting at every corner.
