The initial step of Matthew 18 is to go to your brother or sister who has trespassed against you, go to him or her privately. Enlighten him regarding it the offense. In the event that he apologized and repent, you've won your brother or sister. In the event that he/she declines to apologize, at that point you run with maybe a couple different witnesses; also believers. On the off chance that despite everything he declines to repent, at that point you convey the procedures to the church. What's more, in the event that despite everything he declines to apologize, at that point he is to be to you as a pagan. This is the formula for suspension. There's just a single sin for which anybody is ever banned in the assemblage of Christ, and that is contumacy, or tenacious lack of contrition or repentance—declining to repent of the transgression that got you under discipline in the first instance.

This is the setting in which Peter brings up the issue, "How frequently do I need to forgive somebody that offends me? Seven times?" Jesus basically says, "The same number of as it takes." When God forgives you, He holds that transgression against you no more. Furthermore, on the off chance that you sin against Him again and He excuses you once more, He doesn't state, "That is two," in light of the fact that the main sin has just been wiped away. On the off chance that we offer absolution to somebody who sins against us and asks our pardoning and he does it once more, we can't state, "That is two." That would uncover or become an evidence that we didn't forgive him the first run. On the off chance that we concede forgiveness, we are stating, "I recall this against you no more." That's what "I forgive you" truly implies.

UNFORGIVENESS IS A TWO EDGED SWORD

Yet, Peter has a scorecard, and he needs to know how frequently he needs to experience this procedure. Seven? Jesus says, "Seventy times seven." And to delineate His point, He tells a story: "In this way the kingdom of God might be contrasted with a ruler who wished to settle accounts with his workers. When he started to settle, one was conveyed to him who owed him ten thousand coin" (vv. 23– 24).

Feel the hugeness of the heaviness of this debt. The most elevated money related unit of that day was the ability. One ability was a remarkable entirety of cash. The yearly income in Herod's entire kingdom was nine hundred abilities. This servant owed the ruler in excess of ten times the yearly income of King Herod. It was what might as well be called a great many dollars, steem, or bitcoin in the present time.
