Today's tonic: Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Pt2

Text: John 14:6,John 8:31-33

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.John 14:6

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?John 8:31-33

Hello children of God wherever you are this morning. I welcome you all to God's alter where we have a definite encounter with God on daily basis. It is my sincere prayer that the good God you have come to seek shall find you in Jesus name, Amen

Today's teaching is the 55th of its kind.. Hallelujah

Yesterday we started with the series by explaining what we ought to benefit when we follow the way in Christ, we were able to established the fact that to get to any destination in life, their is a need for you to follow a way and that way is Christ Jesus.

Today we shall further by considering Jesus the truth.

We are in a generation where people consider the fact to be greater to the truth, but it should be the other way round.

Facts are cultural bound while the truth is universal. What is considered to be a fact in a particular location might not be considered as fact in another location. But the truth here is still the truth there.

To win legal battle against the adversary, you need to hold the truth in your hand, because it is the truth you know that can set you free.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.8:32

We can rewrite this passage to follow this pattern, if you know Jesus he will set you free because Jesus is the truth.

No matter how many facts you know, until you know Jesus, you cannot be free.

Doctors fact might say you are dying of that ailment, but the truth of life says by his stripes you are heal. If you don't know the truth, you will surely die as stated by the fact.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.Isaiah 53:5

The more truth you know determine the number of freedom you enjoy.

The Bible is loaded with the word of truth for you and I, lay hold on any and see it becoming your reality.
