Today's tonic: What vessel are you; vessel or unto honour or dishonour?

Text: 2 Timothy 2:20

Confession: I am a vessel of honour, I can never be dishonored in Jesus name... Amen

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.2 Timothy 2:20

Yesterday we started a series about vessels where we were able to established the fact that availability of a vessel does not guaranteed it usability by God except if it is pure for God's usage.

Today we shall proceed with out teaching on vessels.

From the above Bible passage, we can see at least four materials from which vessels are made (gold, silver, wood and earth) but their honour is not in the material from which they were made from, the honor lies in their usability. That is, are they able to serve the purpose for which they were made for?

Instead of the earthen vessels to be angry with itself, other vessels or it maker, it should just go ahead and do exactly what it was made for, for that is where the honour lies.

Don't waist away your time complaining about what you don't have, if you need it, God will give you. He's not giving you because you don't need it. Make good use of those ones you have, that is where your honour lies

If a golden vessel fail in it duty, it can't have the honor of a gold, service is the only key to our been honoured, how well are you doing it?

It doesn't matter how long you have been falling short, you can still decide now, you can decide to become what God says you are. I can see God helping you to overcome your weakness in Jesus name.
