JESUS MY SHEPHERD
hello steemians. Today I will be giving to us some inspirational and biblical words.
Christ compares his relationship between him and his followers to that between a shepherd and his sheep. In this write up I will be telling us about what I think are some characteristics between a shepherd and his sheep that we can emulate to have a good working relationship with Christ.
RECEPTIVENESS
the sheep are always receptive to the voice of the shepherd. They understand when the shepherd is calling and when a stranger is calling. Hence to have a good relationship with our shepherd Jesus Christ we should learn to know is voice and that of stranger.
IDENTITY
the sheep are known by the shepherd. The shepherd knows every one of his sheep and identifies them.
TRUST
The sheep follows the shepherd. The sheep trust the shepherd enough as to follow every command he gives. They know he his there for them.
SECURE
the sheep are always secure when with their shepherd. No one can snatch them out of the owners hands.
Jesus is our owner, our shepherd no one can snatch us out of his hands....
If Christ is our shepherd then we are winners and we have nothing to fear
