Be Strong In The Lord
Jehova, this is how far the Lord has brought us. Indeed the merciful God has been faithful and merciful to us all to see another Sunday. Join me and let's say a big Thank You to him for all that he had done for us.
Today been the 2nd Sunday of February, I want us to meditate on the theme ;
We Are Strong In The Lord
Exodus 15:2
The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him— my father’s God, and I will exalt him!
When we all were in school, once in a while our teachers tests us. Now let me ask this;
Why do we write tests in school?
What is the essence of writing these tests at all?
Tests are written on the assumption that you have been taught a lesson and our teacher wants to find out the extent to which we have learnt or understood what we have been taught.
The results are usually intriguing. On a scale of 10 or 100. At the end of every test, we see 0 - 10 or 0-100 which simply means while some students scored 0 other also scored 10 or 100.
That is how it is in our relationship with God, we write tests concerning our health, business, among others in spite the fact that we are overcomes, despite all those challenges in life we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS.
As Christians, we must not be bothered when we are been tested with our faith in the Lord, there will be many plans of the enemy against us in every aspect of our lives; we are to note that, Our Lord allows them because He knows the stuff we are made of. We are warriors and conquerors in Him.
The Lord our God has asked us to rejoice in everything that goes on in our lives. He asks us to rejoice even in our hardest times, because, He knows we will and have over come them. No situation in our lives that we face has the power to overwhelm us because the Holy Spirit is always to our aid.
To walk in our victory in Christ, we need a certain mindset. And that mindset is The mindset of a victor.
We should know that our adversaries and persecutors put together can't harm us, because whenever they sense the sound of our footsteps, they flee.
