This is a continuation of the post i did some days ago entitled

How To Ensure Your Happiness!

Today, I would like to expantiate a little bit on the idea of HOW TO ENSURE YOUR HAPPY!

When I said in part 1 that:
" THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU"
"So only you can find it for yourself.
Start Today, start now,
make up your mind that you will try to find the kingdom within yourself."

I would like to add that it is the practice,
and applications of the teachings of Jesus Christ that opens the gates of the kingdom.

Someone may be wondering why i am talking of the kingdom of God when i want to show you how to ensure your happiness, right?

It is simply because

Also because in the kingdom of God, we have the full presence of God.

And what do the scriptures say about the presence of God?

So we can say if you are looking for happiness which is basically the same as joy, then you are looking for the kingdom of God.

Hence only the kingdom of God can ensure your HAPPINESS. That is why Jesus said,

Let us look at happiness and joy in contrast to like, agree, approve and even want.

Not liking certain things is not the same as being unhappy about certain things.
You may not like the political situation of your country and still have joy or feel happy within yourself.
But if you are unhappy about the political situation of your country,
it means you no longer feel joy within yourself.
Happiness and joy are basically one and the same feeling.
They are pleasant feelings that arise within ourselves.
They are of the emotions.
But dislike and not wanting and not agreeing with something, is of the mind (of the intellect, mental)
So you can keep your emotions pleasant with joy and happiness even if you may not agree or like or approve mentally many things around you.
The problem is that for many people their mental control their emotions.
If they think that they don't like or agree with or approve of something, they begin to get worked up, anger and irritation are inevitable.
Not liking something is based on your identifications which are mental constructs.
For example:
France is playing a football match with England.
You are supporting England and what them to win.
Say for some reason you went to the toilet and then you heard that there is a penalty.
You will ask who the penalty is against. If the penalty is against the French you will be happy (have pleasant sensations) you will like it mentally and approve of it because you identify with England, and vice versa.

So we can say that NOT IDENTIFYING with any side or anything is the key to separating your mind from your emotions. And hence master the art of eternal joy.
So Jesus says

So our Lord Jesus the Christ tried to teach us the art of self denial as the way to eternal Joy and peace which is not affected by the external situations around you. We can keep the external situations at the level of the mind by limiting our identifications with things of this world.

Look at it once more through another football example;
Says, you found a match between 2 teams that you do not know or care about,
you will just enjoy the match if it's a good match and laugh at both sides if it is a lousy match.
Identifications control our thinking.
LET GO OF IDENTIFICATIONS AND ENJOY BOUNDLESS JOY.

This is what Jesus says about his teachings;

The Lord Jesus says if anyone loves him he will obey his teachings.
And by odeying his teachings we attract the presence of God and when God makes his home with us He also establishes his kingdom and we hqve already read that in the presence of God there is fullness of Joy and at his right hand there are pleasures for ever more.

So the secret is out:

Learn the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Practice the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And the God Head will manifest for you,
Hence your pleasant feelings will know no bounce.

If you want to ensure your happiness in this life and in the life to come,
all you have to do is obey the Lord Jesus, and he will send the Holy Spirit to ensure that you have the presence of God, which is the only way to ensure your happiness.
Secure the presence of God in your life by obeying the lord Jesus Christ and enjoy perpetual peace and joy that surpasses understanding.
