Is Christmas Doomed in Popularity here in the States ??

in #christmas5 years ago (edited)

Took the girls to get their photo with Santa at Bass Pro Shop. We ALWAYS have to wait in line for a couple of hours. ( the past 7 years)

This year...

we walked right up and were second in line. And it took literally minutes and mama bear had her santa photo to put up on the mantle.

I don't know but maybe Christmas is losing ground this year compared to past years here in the US.

Your opinions ????

I think that children today do not believe that Santa Claus did not existed and is just an invention and so is the Lord Jesus Christ being born in December 25th LOL.

Yeah people truly thought Thor and Zeus were real just like Christ is. But with Christ there seems to be a lot of evidence and not just Myth, imho

Yes of course Christ is real, only the date of his birth is not and is just an invention Sir @robertandrew

wowww, Excellent kenz and ???. nice pic, always be happy like this. thanks my friend @robertandrew for sharing such type of family pic.

Did the place seem that busy in general? I think a lot of people are not going out as much because they are doing all of their shopping online at home. That might be part of it. Not having kids, I haven't really seen this phenomenon. It is a curious observation though. I like the one comment by @bobaphet, perhaps kids are just more pragmatic these days at all ages.

I wonder if it is just part of people staying on their phones or TV's and not going out?
