Siena from high ~ cityscape photography

Hello, my dear friends. This was supposed to be a photography post, contest and so on, but I just can't post a single photo without a few words. Especially if it is about Italy and such a wonderful city - Siena! lol. (Here I'd say "Hello" to @tonyz! ;) )

So, most of the buildings of Siena were built in the XII-XIV centuries. The explanation for this is very interesting. In the XV century, the economic situation in the province worsened, and new buildings began to appear less and less. Thus, now Siena is a museum of medieval architecture in its own way.

The first shot is my submission to Cityscape photocontest hosted by @axeman and previously sponsored by @partico. But now the sponsor seems to be disappeared, therefore @axeman run it without restriction for using a particular client, and thanks to @drakos the contest still has a reward pool. Anyway, for me it is more about photography and fun than about reward :) Go go go!

And two more photographs from the high as a bonus. It was a cloudy day, good for summer walk probably, but it was winter :) Anyway, this city is beautiful in any season, and I hope you'll enjoy its view.
