Hong Kong is a neon light city, every street have the big big neon light outside the building! Sign of a shop not only used for promotion, they represent the goodwill of the shop. I just view a video that describe a local fastfood shop at Tsim Sha Tsui for more than 40 years, the government need to repair the area, the shop need to stop bussiness for a few months. The shop owner said that all the things can replace but only the sign of the shop cannot change. It means the soul of his shop!

香港是一個遍佈霓虹招牌的城市，每條街道的建築物外牆都掛上大大的霓虹招牌！商店的招牌不僅用於促銷，它們更代表了該店的商礜，最近我觀看了一段視頻，該視頻說在尖沙咀經營了超過40年的本地小食店，因為政府需要對店舖範圍進行維修工程，該店需要停止運作幾個月，店主說所有的東西都可以取代，但只有店舖的招牌不能改變，因為這個招牌代表著整間店舖的靈魂！

Hong Kong is changing, it cannot be avoid of the signage culture. The first photo is the typical sign in the past few decades. The second photo is a new type of sign at the recent years, also is my hate one! That's so shame the technology is develop so fast but the culture was disappeared. Sign design also is a professional area, not only use the light to attract the people. For example, do you know the yellow color and the red color can increase the eating desire? So many of restaurant are used these two color for their signage such as Macdonald! Green color means healthy, vegetarian, so many of pharmacy and healthy products shop will use!

香港正在發生變化，連招牌文化也難幸免，第一張照片是過去幾十年的最經典的招牌，第二張照片是近年來最常見的新型招牌也是我最討厭的。令人遺憾的是，科技發展如此之快，但文化藝術卻漸漸倒退了，標誌設計也是一個專業領域，不單單是用光線來吸引目光就可以的。例如，你知道黃色和紅色是可以增加吃的慾望嗎? 所以很多餐廳都會用這兩種顏色作為他們的標牌，如麥當勞！綠色代表健康、素食，所以很多藥房素食店也會採用！

Moreover, some of the sign have rules, for the register doctor, they need to mark clearly at the sign. If there are no the word registry that means they have no licence, need to pay attention for them! All the Chinese Medicine already have the government register in recent years, you can search the list at the website of Health Department!

還有，有些招牌是被政府規管的，註冊醫生需要在招牌上清楚地列明。如果沒有列明註冊的，意味著他們沒牌照，需要小心點了！近年來所有的中醫藥都已經有了政府了的規管，那些資料全部都可以在衛生署的網站上搜索得到！

Many of asia country, they have many foot massage shop, do you know there are some special signal at the sign. If there have a smile inside the palm sign that means they offer the special service, I can't find those in my district. Next time if I meet them, I will take a photo to show you!

很多亞洲國家，會有很多足部按摩店，有些招牌上會有一些特殊的信號，如果那招牌的腳板上有微笑，這意味著他們會提別的服務，我所在的地區找不到，下次如果我遇見那些招牌，會拍照給你們看！
