My Postcrossing (6) - Skalnate please Observatory, Tatra Mountains
My first time receiving postcard from Middle Europe! The postcard is from Slovakia. There are three spots on the photo: Tatra Mountains, Vysoke Tatry and Skalnate pleso Observatory.

Let me introduce one by one. The Tatra Mountain is a mountain range forming the natural border between Poland and Slovakia. Now it is listed in the World Network of Biosphere Reserves under the Man and the Biosphere Programme of UNESCO. So the national song of Slovakia is also named as “ Lightning Over the Tatras.
讓我一個一個來介紹吧，塔特拉山脈是形成斯洛伐克與波蘭邊界的山脈，現已被列為人與生物圈計劃下的生物圈保護區，而斯洛伐克的國歌也是以《塔特洛山上電光閃閃》來命名！

And then the Vysoke Tatry. It is located at the mountain of the High Tatra Mountain on the Slovak side. The environment is very very beautiful!
而上塔特拉山鎮就自然是在塔特拉山上的小鎮了！這小鎮位於上塔特拉山脈，斯洛伐克那邊的山腳，附近湖光山色，美麗動人，我上網找了一些照片，實在美得不得了！
And there is the Skalnate pleso Observatory at the area. The observatory was founded in 1943, on the mountain of 1768 metres high. The asteroid, 2619 Skalnate Pleso, is also named after the observatory. There is a cable car in the photo. Is it the transportation to the Observatory?
而在這位置附近，就是岩湖天文台了！這天文台位於高1786米的山上，在1943年落成，現時小行星2619也是以岩湖天文台來命名。不知道照片上這纜車是否就是前往岩湖天文台的交通工具？
