Traveling to Philippines Part 2 - Palawan, Amazing Places to Snorkel 🎉🤗X_X

Hello, Steemians! Earlier this year my boyfriend and I backpacking around Philippines and one of our favorite places was Palawan. Now I'm going to share with you guys how we traveled through Palawan. For anyone not familiar with Palawan this is what with Wikipedia has to say about it:

Palawan, officially the Province of Palawan is an archipelagic province of the Philippines, it is the largest province in the country in terms of total area of jurisdiction. Its capital is the city of Puerto Princesa.
The islands of Palawan stretch between Mindoro in the northeast and Borneo in the southwest. It lies between the West Philippine Sea and the Sulu Sea.

巴拉望如同一个梦幻般的仙境，生长着在世界其他地方找寻不到的珍稀动物和奇花异草，这里的景色美仑美奂，巴拉望拥有世界上最好的水体，可谓是潜水和垂钓的天堂，海水下有珊瑚礁和彩虹般的暗礁墙，环绕海岸和海峡绵延数里，周围还有众多海洋生物栖息。主要的娱乐项目集中在科隆、爱妮、巴顿港、公主港等地。其中从科隆和爱妮出发有较多的跳岛游线路可选择，尤其科隆周边有许多二战沉船潜水点，但是我们选择了爱妮岛和巴顿港。

Day 10: 28th of March.

We flew to Palawan from Manila, the flight was cheap. We stayed in Puerto Princesa for two nights then headed to El Nido because there was not much to see and do in Puerto Princesa.

结束Ilocos Nortes之后坐车回马尼拉再做飞机去巴拉望，菲利宾的内陆机都比较便宜，来到巴拉望，我们先在公主港呆了两晚。再出发爱妮岛。

Day 11: 29th Puerto Princesa

We took the tuk-tuk to Pristine Beach during the day and spent whole afternoon drinking beer and relaxing there. After that we went to have BBQ dinner at Baywalk.

Day12-16: 30th-3rd of April

We left Puerto Princesa and took the mini van to El Nido, that was long ride and the road was bumpy and uncomfortable. El Nido is a heavily touristic place, and lots of European people and western people there. There are so many bars and everything are more expensive than everywhere else in Philippines. And there are four island hopping tour in El Nido, tour A,B,C and D, everyone says take tour A or C so we took tour A.

• Secret lagoon
• Shimizu island
• 7 commando island

Day17-18: 4th-5th Port Barton

Port Barton is a quiet, laid back town in between Puerto Princess and El Nido. We spent the first day hiking to see the local waterfall and second day went join the Snorkeling Tour. We both wish we could stay there longer but we didn't plan enough time and we had to leave in two days. There is not ATM in town, so make sure you have bring enough cash.
There are four different types of islands hopping tours, from 9am till 4pm, tour A,B,C,D and we decided to take tour A.

Tour A

• Snorkeling in Twin Reef.
• Snorkeling in front of Inaladelan to watch turtles.
• Lunch and snorkeling in Paradise Island.
• Relaxing and snorkeling in Exotic Island.
• Snorkeling in Middle Reef.
• Sand bar, starfish watching.

离开爱妮岛之后来到巴顿港，这是一个很安静的小镇。很少游客，每个进镇的游客都要在村口签到和交一点钱，我忘记是给了多少钱，反正不多。然后去找名宿，在这里没有ATM，都是使用现金，所以确保你带足够的现金。我非常喜欢这个小岛，很安静让人放松，而且消费也很低，真希望我们能够呆多几天。

We stayed this homestay and the owner was so nice and only cost 700peso per night.

Day 19: 6th Back to Puerto Princess and Onward

Flew to Iloilo for one night, and took the bus to Caticlan (to visit the famous island of Boracay) the next day. Flying to Iloilo was way cheaper than direct to Caticlan.

Palawan is a really nice to travel, I wish I could spend more times there and it's my favorite place in Philippines so far.
