Revisiting history, coffee is a drink followed by the French imported into Vietnam from the 19th century. But over time, it became an integral part of the life and culture of the Vietnamese. Therefore, on many travel consultancy sites, many cafes become attractive destinations and must come to foreign visitors.

Coffee in the fifties became a typical image of urban Vietnam - not to name or hang signs, only plastic chairs, table tennis randomly arranged on the sidewalk. People often prefer fancy cafes in the quiet corner, under a tree or in a bustling street but still private enough. Some people read newspapers, watch cars, some drunk scattered around the cup of coffee.
Hanoians enjoy coffee phin, each has its own secret. Some people think that it must be tightly tapped before the boiling water, the new coffee. Some people carefully scoop the water with some spoonfuls of water to pour into the taste of the beef.

Meanwhile, the Saigon people are familiar with coffee rackets, also known as coffee stockings or coffee warehouses. Traditionally, the coffee powder is put into a thin cloth bag (also known as a racquet), placed in a terracotta pot and then boiled with boiling water. A few minutes later, the coffee was poured out of an aluminum kettle. The first water is called juice, which has the best quality of a single phase. Warm coffee is raised on a coal stove before pouring for guests.

No matter what phase, one must wait for a certain amount of time to sip a cup of hot coffee. Vietnamese have a habit of drinking coffee with a stronger flavor than people in many other countries. A cup of pure coffee must focus on many factors: bold, bitter, sweet ... People can add milk, drink hot or drink depending on taste.

By the early 2000s, coffee sidewalks changed when owners started to open internet cafes, coffee live music, coffee books or invest more space and interior decoration. At this time the Vietnamese not only drink coffee as a refreshment, they gradually enjoy culture when they come to the restaurant. Especially, in recent years, the phrase "roasted ground coffee" appeared and dominated the habit of the Vietnamese, the coffee gradually turned into the past.

Today, bring along every corner of Saigon, coffee milling ground up mushroom. Everybody raises coffee roasting on the spot, the people race to drink roasted coffee and gradually become a habit deep into the blood of the Saigon. Early in the morning, people come to a familiar place, sip a cup of coffee, talk to the key and get started.
