Colorchallenge Sunday Purple: Lilac Season is Coming!

Here is today's contribution to the popular #colorchallenge photo contest, originally started by @kalemandra and now seen all over Steemit. This may actually be Steemit's oldest running photo challenge by now!

Today's theme is "Sunday Purple;" purple is also the color corresponding to the Crown Chakra.

Lilacs are one of my favorite part of spring; they are beautiful and so fragrant! This is a close-up of the flowers on a particularly pretty lilac bush we planted the year after we moved into this house. Although its season is brief, it has brought us beautiful flowers every year we have been here. Because of our long winter this year, it will still be a while before it blooms; this shot is from last year.
