Good afternoon! This is my contribution for the #ColorChallenge initiated by @kalemandra! Today is Wednesday yellow.

I took some macro shots of the dandelions around our home before my husband cut the grass. I normally don’t take the time to appreciate these flowers but being apart of the @naturalmedicine community I have learned that these dandelions are actually a great addition to a healthy diet. They are great for culinary purposes, low in calories, packed with vitamins and rich in minerals such as magnesium, copper, folate, calcium, potassium and iron.

Taking macro shots helps you to admire the smallest beauties in life. I have more love and respect for these flowers now. I have yet to try eating the leaves.
