I present this beautiful iguana, an animal very common in Latin America, these should be everywhere without any risk to them, but this is not the case, because there is an illicit traffic and poorly seen for these animals, they are hunted mainly for consumption of their meat and their eggs. They are also marketed as pets. In Latin America people can pay more for iguana meat than for fish or chicken, and in some places it is a common ingredient of traditional recipes. In addition, the leather is used for the manufacture of articles for personal use (handbags, shoes, belts and wallets). Until a few decades ago, there were even iguana trade routes. Well, many iguanas are needed to be able to do these things. Everyone has their opinions about the consumption of this animal and we have to respect each opinion so we do not share it, for me it is something horrible, but everyone decides.
