ColorChallenge - Yellow Wednesday - Mahonia aquifolium (Oregon grape)
Mahonia aquifolium (Oregon grape) is an old-fashioned plant with yellow flowers. One such bush grows in my garden :-)
The flowers come out early in the spring but frosts cannot damage them, mahonia can even flower under a load of snow.
Mahonia aquifolium is a very beautiful plant !
