All Different Shades of BLUE for Friday Colorchallenge- Photographs from my photo album

This beautiful scenery of the Blue sea with the snowy mountain as background, certainly gives out a peaceful, serene and happy feeling when one look at it. I love looking at it and my family has wonderful memories of our trip in Alaska. We are still saving for another trip if possible in a couple of years before the snow melts.

We always take the blue sky and blue sea for granted as we know they are blue in colour even though there are many different shades at different timing of the day and seasons. Of course for the sea, the depth of the water will determine the shades of the blue. At times it appeared as if it is greenish and more to turquoise. As the sky and sea are Nature, no one can control their colours as it can be bright and brilliant red at times and dark and threatening black during the stormy and rainy seasons.

Some of my photos will show how a blue look like on a good and sunny great weather day. Whereas on a gloomy and rainy day the dark clouds would change the sky to look like black instead of blue.

Blue for sky gives one a sense of freedom because of its vastness and because it is in the sky, blue can reflect with confidence when we use this colour. Whereas Blue for water represents depth and stability.

The colour blue has positive affects on the mind and the body as many people love to walk by the beach and look into the calm blue sea to find Peace and Serenity. Some will lie back on the sand or grass and look up into the clear blue sky and see all the clouds formation. The blue sky has brought Peace and Calmness that some refer looking up into the sky resembles a spiritual outlet like some can find inside a church. Probably because Heaven is up in the sky, so some has associated blue sky with religious beliefs.

Now this photo shows a great difference to the beautiful one above. It has an angry looking sky with a a dark blue water to compliment it. The dark clouds are every where and it looks threatening and this was taken from a ship.

Now this is another photo that shows that there are dark clouds though not as bad or black as the 2nd photo. Weather forecasted that there will be rain in Perth today and as we are having Winter now, it gets dark by 5.30pm. I took this photo this morning around 10.00am Perth time. It is very cold and wet and we are expecting rain over this weekend.

This is another photo taken this morning same timing as the previous one on my way back to Perth City. I hope all in Perth and Australia will have a good weekend and better weather than the last 2 days. Keep warm and safe.
