Reflecting Pool – #ColorChallenge #ThursdayGreen #Photography
This is the reflecting pool at the North Carolina Museum of Art, in Raleigh, NC. I was struck by the cultivated rows of lily pads. The reflecting pool is the centerpiece for one of the outdoor sculpture gardens at the museum. We were there last year on Mother’s Day. It was a brilliantly sunny day, with mild temperatures, and an absolutely wonderful gift of a Mother’s Day from my husband and son. For about the same thing a trip to Red Lobster or the Outback would have cost, we had a lovely meal with mimosas at the museum café and a day immersed in fine art and pleasure in each other’s company. These images are my submission for the photography #ThursdayGreen #ColorChallenge.

Looks like an interesting place. That statue at the end of the water feature. Is it an example of the three graces? tip!
