Color Challenge - Saturday Indigo - Morning Glories
I often skip Color Challenge on Saturday because Indigo is so hard to find in nature and really just so hard to define. These blooms are a good indigo color I think.
Some of the other blooms on the same vine are more violet. Some of the color variation is due to lighting but there are clearly different colored blooms on this vine.
Those of you that follow me may remember some morning glories from a few days ago. Specifically

Those were from Vermont. These are local California beauties. Morning glories are common in almost all parts of the United States.

Those are a gorgeous color! You are right, indigo is a difficult shade to find! It’s always so interesting that flowers on the same vine or plant can vary in color. Usually it seems as they age they fade to other hues.

really rare color. I also do not participate too often due to the lack of options for this color. Good find for you. I met such a plant, too, but it had a completely different shade.
