Color Challenge - Wednesday Yellow - Golden brown
Golden brown plants dried out at the end of summer.
A part of the golden hills of California.
For what appears to be a dried out husk of a plant, there are many colors from white to brown to yellow to almost orange.
Some of the seed pods have not fully opened.
More of the yellows that drew me to this plant today.
Final photo shows cluster of drying blooms.
Dublin, California. October 10, 2018. All photos original.
Nice photos . mother nature gave those plants a beating.
all summer in the sun ...
These look like straw flowers at the end of their lives! Wonderful shots!
Thanks @icybc I liked the way these shots came out.
Is the real name "Golden Brown", or just a description how they look? Either way, pretty nice pics!
