Once upon a time there was a five year old girl and a stepdad

The little five year old girl was a smartass, and pretty clever! The stepdad had much fun whenever he would talk to the little girl being wise again. The little girl also had a great sense of curiosity in her, and she wanted to know everything that was happening in the house. The stepdad had fun by joking around all the time, when she wanted to know who or what did something and why etc..

The stepdad's answer was always the same: " I am not going to tell you, because I am not a snitch".

The little girl didn't like it when he would say this to her

She just wanted to know everything, and why would he always keep telling her that he could not tell her?
But wise and little smartass as she was, she had a surprise for him when he did not see it coming.
She kind of stopped having that much interest of sticking her nose in to everybody's business by asking who and why and when questions constantly about things that weren't her business as a little girl..

Her stepdad thought his tactic had worked, good! You see? She stopped!

Until... there was a moment that the stepdad had a conversation with the little girl about stuff at school, I don't recall exactly, but I guess it was about school stuff. The conversation was not anything serious, but a light conversation, nothing heavy.. Stepdad asked something about something she was telling him about, and she didn't want to answer. I saw the little spark in her eyes before she said the words... Stepdad asked again and then she said:

"No,no, no, I'm not going to tell you, because I am not a snitch!"

BOOM there you have it, little five year old getting back at you with your little tricks and your own words. Stepdad and I could not stop laughing, and he could only have respect for her getting back at him that way. Little chica had been paying attention after all, and she decided to give him a little taste of his own medicine.
