Starting a curation collective // Cocainum-curate
Today i ran into @berniesandals post he made a couple days ago about delegating 10k SP to @canna-curate account that curates posts about Cannabis.
Im not involved in the Cannabis scene (apparently its a subculture now. How low have we fallen. haha), but i know a guy that played in the band i managed a while back, that was a pot dealer and was high all day long..
The dude was baked from sunrise to sunset.(or whats the slang).
I remember him once being late for a gig because he, and i quote,
forgot his car keys in the woods.
The hell were you doing in the woods? Getting high with Red Riding Hood?
Another time he thought he forgot his car keys on an Island the band played on when we got off the ferry on the main land. He then took the ferry back, didnt find the keys, took the ferry back again to the mainland, walked to the car.... and the car keys were dangling from the car door...
And they ask me why i dont smoke weed. haha.
Maybe because feeling like i have Alzheimers at 29 isnt a feeling i enjoy. haha
Anyways...
Seeing that Bernie delegated 10k SP to the Marijunana community, i thought long and hard about how i could emulate the cannabis community success!
And i got it!
Marijuana is a "slacker" drug, you smoke it and you just want to lay around eating chocolate and laughing your ass off. It even makes you laugh at Amy Schumer jokes! Laughing at Amys jokes has to be a crime somewhere.
So why not create a curation collective that wouldnt support Cannabis addiction but rather something stronger, more tailored towards the wealthy class?
A collective that would attract failed child actors, wealthy South American cartel leaders, presidential candidates, 80s rock stars and Robert Downey Jr..
Think about it...
Tony Montana is cool because he snorted mountains of cocaine, not because he smoked pot!
If he was a pot-head, Seth Rogan would have played him, not Al Pacino.

Going through them, laughing my butt off enough where I’m trying not to wake up my wife like “did you miss his very first tag, the one that says #comedyopenmic?” Ok, maybe they missed it, I must admit, I often miss tags, too. Im sorry, but a slacker drug? I smoke cannabis and work 6 days a week, and support my family on the Central Coast of California, which is not cheap. Apparently you have bought into the bull shit propaganda that has been pushed down our throats over the years. Maybe do your research on cannabis, and it's benefits. Also do your research on @canna-curate, we are more then just about cannabis. Also it's not called Marijuana, it's cannabis, and Willie Nelson has accomplished more then the whole Steemit community combined. The tag #misguided and #uninformed should have been used.
Was trying to make fun of the whole subculture thing and glorification of something like cannabis. I drink alcohol and used to smoke for 4 years and i find the "Tobacco gentleman societies" (or anything equivalent) equally ridiculous. It doesnt matter if it does or does not have medicinal properties.
The funny part is that you are offended over jokes? If someone made a post mocking "Ozujsko" beer i wouldnt give a damn.
"Glorification of something like cannabis"... Yes I glorify it. It saves lives. It can replace dangerous drugs for pain, depression and more. I DO NOT take weak attempts to slander MY community as jokes, especially since it wasn't even funny.

Always found the substance subculture thing funny. I knew i might get some backlash but idnt expect people to get so defensive.
Weve come to a point where you can make fun of things like religion, but make fun of marijuana and folks get jumpy. Haha.
