COMEDY OREN MIC #44: THE BEAUTY QUEEN
Growing up as a child, I had many funny experiences which made my childhood to be fun. I can vividly remember when I was in pry 5 (grade 5) and there was a beauty contest going on in the school that every girl wanted to participate in except me and my friend Tracy. Betty was one girl whose spirit was so high about the contest and she does blow her trumpet to us stating that nobody will be able to beat in the contest that she already has the crown. Nobody in the school who didn't hear Betty calling herself the beauty queen because her mouth was as loud as a trumpet connected to high speakers.
It was the deal day and everyone was anticipating who the queen that will put on the crown will be when Tracy came to me laughing so hard like someone who wants to laugh her lungs out. I was not that surprised because something I do know about Tracy is that she is laughing gas. I asked her what's funny but she continued laughing until she got to a little satisfaction of her daughter and she spoke if you see the so-called Queen Betty you are certainly going to throw up, her outfit looks so much like that of a clown. She was yet to complete her statement when the M.C called out contestant number 5 who happens to be Betty.

As Betty stepped in everyone was yelling and laughing. I must say her outfit is the most of horrible I have seen. She was putting on a blue top with a green skirt and her shoes weren't a pair but of different colours, one was orange and the other yellow. Her makeup was a mess too she could pass for a masquerade. She was smiling as she hears the audience shouting and laughing maybe she thought we were praising her Lol. When she was asked to introduce herself she took the mic and spoke. I'm Queen Betty and the one who deserves this crown, we all busted into laughter as she said those words.
The results were being called and quiet Ella was made a queen, Betty wasn't even among the top two runner up's. She started yelling the crown is mine, I'm the Queen. My name is Queen Betty, the judges spoke to her that it was a beauty contest and not a clown contest. That if it were a clown contest then she could have definitely be made the clown. And we the audience started shouting Clown Betty with so much laughter and Betty walked out the hall with a smile. A smile that was so fake that she used to cover her shame.
