MUSEDUCATION

Let me bamboozle you
With words like apperture;
A view into the skin of things
To see the tendril of heat
Leaving living skin
As the skein unravels
Like old weaves and past lives.
Full stop.

There's a word like
Elocution that vibrates
With electrocution, election,
The elect of the church
And so on and so forth.
They all are; speaking freely
Verbose words and complex sounds
Making sonorous pronunciations
Seem like music, like a song
Verifying the agility of a tongue,
Thirty two teeth, two lips
And the sour breath of the oesophagi.
Full stop.

Do you know corrosive elements
Like air and water,
Zinc and some other elementals,
Sorry metals?
That is a baby word is it not?
Okay consider permutations.
Each mutation I think it means,
But I may be wrong
As I have wrung myself off google
Ogling and stumbling between words
That I can't define.
If I take per then take mutations
I lose something I think.
It could be perms;
Really lovely hairstyles
That cause scalp burns.
Full stop.

Oh, let us retrace our steps
And observe sequestered nuns
Charging habits and taking on
Masks and musks,
Lotions and certain scents
To please the light that
Reflect off the apperture
Called the eye.
Let us peep holes through peepholes
While we gesticulate with our hands
On caps and scrotal sacks
Seeking release between each pause.
God be with us all, amen.

Sorry, Let us kiss the posterior
Of fat filled appendages
Giggling in the rolling gait
Of sexual sensuality,
Provocating other appendages
To rise in constrained discomfort
Seeking to execute, penetrate,
Interspersed with propagate,
Sorry, populate and expantiate.
Do you understand
What I have tried to elucidate?
No, you cannot follow?
How sad, your thoughts
Have been castrated, full stop.

You see, you can pretend
To watch the swinging hypnosis
Of lengthy mammaries
Dancing to the vibrational pull
Of the earth's crust
As the laws of physics
Propel motion without friction,
Cause heat without friction,
Raise appendages to salute
The apogee of the limping succulence
Leaning on their necks
To stare at the floor
In oblivious embarrassment.

I have given you words
Like tools for the picking
Of the locks of meaning
To encourage your vocabulary
To birth something new
And when next we meet,
You will bamboozle yourself
With your sagacity and meritorious
Linguistic postulations.
Call it the fornication of the mind,
The forensic peeling away
Of the foreskin of meaning
leaving the gratuitous, greed
To leak gelatin proteins on the carpet.
Do you understand?
No?
That is just sad.
Full final stop.

I nominate @ifeoluwa88 and @afolwalex

Sort:

a cacophonous onslaught
let beggars be taught
like a bolognious Monk.
masticate from this plate
of Booyaa Bitches!

To masticate from this plate
I will have to mentor
Two dogs menstruating
Like leaking roofs bleeding rain.

Let the cacophony come,
It stifles the symphony
And sometimes it's just noise

That is a massive poem. As a teenager, I used to watch the baboons on baboon island in the zoo. I was happy that they were at my level.
