New COMICS & TOYS this week at Comic Shops!!! 12/5/18

Before I start showcasing the usual weekly drivel to the regulars here, I’d like to say hello to any of the new folks that we’re kind enough to throw a follow my way. I met a ton of amazing new people this past week at SteemFest in Krakow and a lot of them might be lost here. Basically every week in the comic world, a slew of new products ranging from the obvious comic books to statues and action figures, puzzles and mugs, and so much more, make their way onto store shelves across the globe. I compile all the new stuff into one handy post weekly so those that are interested can keep up to date with everything for that week. It’s kinda known as New Book Wednesday amongst us and folks are rabid and come in immediately each and every week to get their fix.
Most comics especially from the big 2 publishers known as Marvel and DC are either bi weekly or monthly simply meaning new issues release every 2-4 weeks. A lot of the smaller Independent companies try to keep up to that pace but more often than not, there are delays. Either way, each and every Wednesday, expect a new chunk of goods to hit store shelves at comic shops everywhere.

On the Marvel corner of the world, a whole slew of regulars come at ya. New issues of Deadpool, Doctor Strange, Uncanny X-Men, & Spider-Man/Deadpool are ready to be read. Venom #10 by Mr. Donnie Cates is sure to be choc full of goodness. Don’t forget about Immortal Hulk. That title has been getting rave reviews. Oh, and if you are looking to get in that holiday soorit, maybe check out the X-Men Holiday Special.
DC finally releases the new ish of Doomsday Clock. Bout damn time!! Batman sports a purdy Mattina variant. Oh so does Deathstroke...and Green Lantern. 🔥 Harley Quinn has 2 festive holiday covers and a beautiful Jae Lee variant for the new issue of Justice League is a simple but beautiful piece. I really love his work. Too bad I never got my commission from him...
Indy Time!! Image throws a couple new series at us in Self Made, & Die, & Paradiso. Walking Dead also hits. Sonic has a new One Shot. Rick & Morty, Archie & Batman 66, and Wicked & the Divine are also in this week.

On the miscellaneous front, we have a handful of Funko Pops. There a new Crash Bandicoot action figure for diehards of the series. A 10” McFarlane Walking Dead Daryl figure that comes with a rocket launcher and a My Hero Academia figure will go quickly. Rick & Morty blindbag keychains will frustrate you as you attempt to pull the one you want. The new Ghostbusters wave from Diamond Select look sweet. This last one I’m not sure I care for. The new Savage World line from Funko. This one is the Friday the 13th Jason. These are made to look like the old He-Man line. What’s your thoughts?!?

That's a good idea - I should start doing a quick review of these each week. I know lots of people are on YT doing that, but maybe a write up would be helpful for some? I'll give it a go.
And, wow, Batman 60 was something...I remember the 58 featuring Bane and some type of Batman, but couldn't find anything online. Now we know - good stuff!
I think so as well. Right now while there are t a ton of comic folks here it’ll be tough but eventually we will build it up. In time. This will be a very useful tool for comic fans.
Well it is fun to be part of the small group here on Steemit that enjoys comics at the very least. Did you get caught up on your books from last week? Lots going on in DC - way too much!
Ah, finally a chase edition in one of these posts. Not gonna lie, I watch these new week posts like a hawk for any cool Chase Pops that I might scrounge up my pennies for to pay for all the jizz in my pants. Sadly, I have no fucking idea what the hell that Slog and Grub Pop is even from, haha.
Lol. We get em in often slack. You just are missing em. I think it’s from Funko’s bullshit made up characters line. Trash.
Yeah, I haven't been very impressed with their unique characters that I've seen. Not a fan of that one either too much.
Mind if I just send you a short list on FB on some chase pops I'm looking for to see if you've got any of them in stock in your shop by chance?
Their own creations are pretty much cruddy and weak.
