These are the drawings that you told us you were doing for the idea of the comic? They look great! I would love to watch the video but my internet is too slow :(

These are different than those drawings I'd mentioned. This isn't for my comic, it's a "guest" piece to help promote the Ithaqa comic written by @drwatson. I'll have more of my own project to show soon!

Very nice video, Bryan ! :D The inking is so nice ! :D

Thanks so much! I’m glad you liked it. It’s doubly nerve wracking to worry about both the quality of my art & my video presentation! 😬

Whoa you have a special glove for drawing, that's pretty smart. Your lines are so measured and precise, it's good to see you draw :).

As much as I feel like I’d like to “loosen up”... I always gravitate toward clean & precise work. I’ve still got a lot of practice & learning to go, but I love looking at comic artists like Frank Cho & Clayton Henry for inspiration.
The gloves are dirt cheap! You can buy a bunch of disposable cloth gloves & cut the fingers out. I believe it’s a trick that originated in the animation industry many years ago...

My inkworks are also more clean than messy looking, but I have a big desire to draw expressive linearts. Some of them are so full of emotions.

Ahhh so that is not a specialised art glove? Hahaha, that's pretty clever actually.

Your recent “expressive ink” practice was a big departure from your usual lines, but it turned out great! We can really learn a lot from experimentation like that.

Hehehe I didn't expect you to visit my gallery just because of my comment. Now I'm feeling self conscious, but thanks for the praise :).

That's some smooth inking, my friend! Looks great!

Hey thanks! And welcome to the wild world of Steem! You’ve got some great work, I’ll have to check out your book. I hadn’t seen it before, but I know Action Lab puts out quality stuff.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. The comics community is small, but very friendly and growing steadily. Happy to have you here!

not bad for your first "vlog", good luck on this platform.

Very cool @bryan-imhoff, video is just so much more engaging. I hope more people do videos, I think it just feels a lot more personal.

Wow, so many details in your drawing! I do like your creepy spider symbol, I first saw it in your sketch book ;p

I am keeping an eye on the fundition page, I hope to learn a bit from your experience for a future project.

That symbol design credit, (& the characters as well!) goes entirely to @la-fumettista. I’m just a fan artist for Ithaqa!

Oh yes, excuse me! I saw it in hr sketchbook, I got a bit confused 'seeing' you draw 'her' things. I just enjoy the ride, cool to see that this is a collaboration :)

No worries! I just didn’t want to take any undue credit!

I see the fundition is almost complete! Does that track only donations or also can you include post payouts in that total?

The Fundition interface is a bit wonky at the moment in terms of not showing individual user contribution calculations correctly... I do hope they fix it soon! That being said, the overall total does show both votes and direct donations accumulated, the majority of that total right now being votes from the Fundition account itself. @drwatson does a good job of tracking individual user votes & contributions himself using other reporting tools and includes tallies in his project update posts.

Great news! I am going to be doing a test run with a small project soon, to hopefully follow on with a larger, more impactful project.

So thats pretty good about the tracking, but are you all responsible for sending in the steem you earn into a pot or something? Then will you convert it to dollars and cents?

Fundition itself is essentially just a site that styles blockchain content in a format akin to a crowdfunding site. So post rewards get paid to the author/Project automatically just like any other content. Direct donations made through the Fundition site are almost immediately forwarded to the wallet of the Project author.

So unlike something like a KickStarter, it’s not all or nothing. The funds aren’t in escrow until the project reaches its goal. So I always advise folks to support projects that they would anyway... regardless of any potential backer rewards.

The recipient is entirely responsible for cashing out to fiat currency when necessary, fulfilling promised rewards, etc.

Too bad... I can not watch your video because of the subject of my Internet. 😩😩😩😩

I wish I could see your drawing and be able to know what you did.

😢 I hope your internet problems get better soon! (You’re not missing out on much in my video! Just messing around to see how making a video clip is done!)

Always so modest @bryan-imhoff, I always love what you do because I like your style, I hope that for your next video I can see what you did.

Thanks me more than anyone I hope that my Internet lets me work.

Fantastic illustrations!

In case you haven't seen it, we're starting a Steemit based crowdsourced superhero universe and thought you might be interested. We're holding a character drawing contest right now too!

Thank you! I have had an eye on your fun project and perhaps I’ll contribute something in the future. There just never seems to be enough hours in the day!
