Comic Book Original Art Collection: All-New Wolverine #3 Cover, by Bengal

New original art pickup just in! Pretty excited about this one, as the All-New Wolverine series (and X-23 in general) was what got me back into Modern comics a few years ago. She's a very compelling character who exhibits some of the best and worst sides of Logan -- the original Wolverine.

The OA world has some fun rules. A few relevant ones here: (1) Battle scenes command a premium; (2) It's better for Wolverine and any of his progency to have their claws out (bonus points for the "SNIKKT" sound effect); (3) Full body shots are better than partial appearances; (4) Covers rule.

Pre-Modern Marvel covers tend to be very pricey; even a Modern cover for a popular series and character like this can be tough to acquire, so I had to swoop in when I saw it going for well under 2k. #3 also happens to be the second appearance of Gabby aka Honey Badger, X-23's own clone and sidekick.

If you're into Marvel movies, chances are you've seen Laura (X-23's given name) in action. She had an unforgettable star turn in Logan last year.
