We're happy to announce SteemPH - Cebu will feed a target of 150 Children this Sunday | October 15, 2017. This is in line with the celebration of World Food Day (October 14 - 16, 2017). This is the first event @steemph.cebu to host, with our children as our beneficiaries. Please take note of the following Details :
Date : October 15, 2017 (Sunday)
Time : 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 nn.
Venue : Mandaue City Reclamation Area, Metro Cebu, Philippines (Settlers inside CICC)
To volunteers : Anyone can join, Steemit or Non-Steemit users | Bring your own Food
What to bring : You can donate goods, clothes, toys, or anything our children can use
This Event is Funded by Steemit
This program is aimed to be funded by Steemit. The earnings from this post will be used by @steemph.cebu for the event. This post might not get its payout within the target date, but through some Steemit users who pledged to lend their SBDs and will be refunded by the time the post gets its payout. This will be the breakdown of the cost :
PACKED-LUNCH
Cost per packed-lunch : P70.00 (1.4 SBD) x 150 pcs. = P10,500.00 (210 SBD)
Transportation costs will be used by volunteer's pocket | They will also bring their own food.
Inside a packed-lunch will be :
- Rice (1/2 cups)
- 1 Dry Pork-chop
- 2 Lumpia
- Bihon
This community account assures everything will be documented and will be transparent. With the help of @queenjventurer and @fernwehninja, who are in charge of monitoring the inflows and outflows of money.

A community that grows together, stays together. Help us in distributing the packed lunch and organizing the event. We believe this will be a good start, and a lot of programs to happen. We need your full support. The team is currently reaching individuals through facebook and instagram campaigns to gather volunteers.

If the above allows us to produce more than 150 packed-lunch, why not?. The more we get the support of the community here, the more we can produce. We will also be conducting future orientations for interesting individuals who wanted to join the Steemit platform.
