My Steemit life consists off reading and viewing blogs, at different times daily. And sometimes I am amazed about all the questions I see.
SO MANY QUESTIONS, CAN YOU ASK THEM OR NOT? WHEN DO I START EARNING
MONEY ??
IS THIS BLOG GENUINE, IS THAT PERSON GENUINE?
WHAT ARE THE DO’s WHAT ARE THE DONT’s?
When I come across a question I always try to reply and help out. Like I was helped in the beginning. But some questions are a bit off......

For what ? For asking a question?

You Guys STEEMIT isn't quick money !
Last week I read a blog about the newbie complaints, i see them too, and stopped by to give my piece of mind.
Dont get me wrong, you asking a question is offcourse free, and I might even reply back with a nice answer, or advice.
But please try to invest time to read, to understand, to acknowledge and overcome any problem while trying to post, just like we all do. See how things are done. To start fresh, try new things and get used to the new language. Make sure you understand the new world of crypto. Learn that the rules are here to protect us all and set boundaries. That money is not the most important . If you just start and have faith that all will be ok in the long run! Really it will.
Freedom off speech is a virtue so use it to build your library of life . A library with images and a blog from speech.
That’s what I do, but I also am involved in getting the witness word out, I think it is a waste to leave your votes uncasted, and we even offer to do the job for you.

A growing place where you want to participate in, to be involved in now, as an early adopter. The future is important.
But as a non complaining newbie it’s important to give and get guidance early on. To have help when needed, whatever timezone you are in!

More than 2/3 off the accounts I came across from the time I have been here, admitted that they came on this platform by recommendation. I also came on recommendation
But even when come in on recommendation that still leaves you with a ton off questions, and you don’t want to ask your friend, colleague or family member who gave you the tip, questions about the steemisfere all the time.

It is perhaps the North American sense of entitlement that leads people to believe that they are entitled to get paid. I heard attention is a much lower-value commodity than respect. So, it is respect than will earn you a measure of success here like everything else.
For me, it is a simple math equation. Content + networking + time = success.
Time is the part that takes the consistency and discipline and the journey where lessons are learned if you are ready to learn them.
So I am with you. Ask and refine your strategy and ask and evolve and ask and improve. Steem rewards the efforts you would be throwing away for free on Facebook and Twitter. How much reward? That is up to you.

But it’s strange that Steemit gives the idea that its a free pass or free ride. We know what’s needed and hopefully we will succeed in our plan and we will see what the future brings. We were the fairly early adapters and that’s nice.
We will see how it goes, I know that’s its nice to be warm welcomed when entering the platform so that’s my goal and educate in the steemterminal with a lot off great people that want to give out and share their knowledge
Oh my gosh, I know! The thing people don't seem to realize, especially when starting out, is that you must give to receive. Steemland is really perhaps best expressed by the Golden Rule. Going into it with an attitude of "what's in it for me?" or "how do I work this thing to my advantage?" is just the wrong attitude. In fact, it's the wrong attitude for life.
If we all went into every new venture and project with an attitude of "how can I use this to help others, or to make the world a better place?" we would have so much love and charity and goodness flowing that there would be no room for fighting, on the micro or macro scale.
There, we have a recipe for world peace. Yay!
Yes, I think is kinda strange that you think that this is the way to go? That the way most approach this new way off being social. It wasn’t written anywhere that join this free ride, make money and live happily ever after. Yet people think that’s the right way to go I see it everyday. And it’s slow season cause of the low prices, bar with me when steem is going up again. I do want to educate and tell but sometimes I think after reading one line LOST CAUSE and after following up and pruning I am right ( sadly to say )

Hey, it is great that you guys are helping to onboard new users... I can here from a nerdy background with already some experience with crypto.... however, I had no blogging or writing experience... I gather for most people, it is the reverse!

Yes I was warm welcomed 18 months ago and I need to pay it forward
I think the questions largely come because the rules of steem don't make a whole lot of sense and are actually quite opaque and too complex. Also, all of the advertising says you will get paid for your posts, unlike other sites, which makes people think that if they have a bunch of likes they will get a bunch of steem, but often you can get a bunch of likes and get very little steem. Steem is also lacking audiences for a number of content areas, such as technical areas, and lacking in content support (e.g., no support equations). Then you have the various self-annointed steem police and the pay to upvote posts that seem to be raking in the dough. It doesn't take too long for a new person to figure out that the original advertisement is kind of like bait and switch.

I dont agree totally , we lack alit maybe but people need to be real in expectations too. If it was a free ride we would be bigger than any other social platform out there. And with FB you didn’t get paid either and half off the world had that. If you ask a question in steemterminal we will answer honestly, direct you to the right place, or connect the dots if needed. Free of charge and no strings attached. We follow the rules, difficult or not because that’s needed. People forget to have fun, learn and meet new people and MAYBE make a buck ! And I say if you don’t follow the rules, try to obey them do what’s needed and you just want cash you are in for a short but heavy letdown.
So after 18 months I am not rich in steem but richer In all aspects here including friendships that’s worth enough for me now. I hope others who. One for help at steemterminal will experience the same
Wow.. I'm breathless from reading this but so spot on!!! People want everything on a silver platter. We need to crawl before we can walk and walk before we can run. I support this 💯 %. Investigate, ask nicely, don't act entitled and help is always available with all the amazing people who give up their time and hard learned lessons. Much respect and much appreciated. 😊

It has been a bit over a year I am here on Steemit and it still feels like I am a newbie. Well perhaps an advanced newbie. People talk about things going on with Steemit and some of how it works and I can still say I don't understand it all. Perhaps this channel could be good for me ^_^
