I thought I would take a moment and reflect on some of the communities and projects I intend to be supporting in 2019. While the list is much greater than this. These happen to be the places I’m most active in and give the greatest support to. My levels of support tend to vary from delegations, voting, witness voting, curation efforts, recommending people to join, playing the game and so on. All a little different for each one.

With it being a fresh year I think it’s always great to take a look and make sure you are not overextending yourself. While also making sure you are being supportive when you can be. This is a more truncated version of my own internal workings. A task I’ll be working on over the week.

My top 5 in alphabetical order:

Contest Kings

@Contestkings is a Steem Monster and contest giveaway community. They plan to create guilds once that feature has been added to the game. In addition, they have daily discussions and banter about the game as well. Once a week they also host in their discord the @Steemmonstershow which is on every Wednesday

On the contest side of things, they have created a white list for people who follow the spirit of “no follow, no upvote, no resteem required” with a channel for authors share their contests into. They then create a daily list of the contest in a post and provide some support with votes. Finally, the community itself also runs daily contest for anyone to join for some fun.

Curation Collective

@c-squared is a community that supports massive amounts of curation efforts being carried out by everyday people. They have channels both generic and specific to different kinds of content. Content that gets voted on by them also gets a resteem and a follow.

They work with a few different communities and really just want to spread the reward pool around to amazing content. If you want to get into curating or are a curator this community really is a win-win for so many.

Curie

@Curie is a curation guild that focuses on rewarding exceptional undervalued content. They do this in many ways from voting on content, supporting sub-communities, creating author showcases, and encouraging engagement with contests as well as supporting other endeavors to do so. They have a lot of people going out every day searching and many members are active in a number of communities.

Darklands

@Darklands is a turn-based roleplaying game being played on the blockchain in text. Every week they have a colony post where players work out their building, crafting, trading, and resource collecting for the week. Players also if they like pick a quest and work with other players throughout the week to complete it by slaying monsters among other things.

Steem Monsters

@Steemmonsters is a collectible trading card game where players enter into battle with each other. Players acquire cards from buying booster packs, buying cards off the market, sometimes winning the tournament if that is the prize, completing a daily quest, and from season rewards from ranking.

Players combine cards to level them up and can sell them as well on the market to other players. You can find some really amazing communities and people just having fun playing this game daily. Not to mention there is always a load of content being created by players of this game.
