Better late than never haha but I would like to congratulate the winners of my comment your Favorite Marvel Movie and I had so much fun reading the comments and seeing what they liked

The best comment I found were the ones that describes how they got hooked with the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe. Some were witty, some described how Tony Stark is not your typical hero, and how you can relate to him as a human with flaws, fears and all.

Hi! This is my entree to this contest and by the way thanks for this contest.
I am not actually an avid fan but because of my children I am forced to watch them. They are a big fan of the avengers. During my younger days the only marvel I know is the X-men and now there are many characters and their stories and existence is not that clear to me. I have watch many of their movies and I'm so surprised that I am actually enjoying it like the way my kids does. So, since the first Avenger I became a fan.
Among all the characters I've met in their movies my favorite character is Iron man because he is a self made hero. Tony Starks is a genius and a man who stands for what is right. Although at first he is not concern about the welfare of human race. He uses his talent in creating bombs and sell it to get rich and just like any other man he is working for his own benefits. Until he discover his father's work and realized his mistakes in the past. He turned into a novel and advocate of peace. If only people can see how a man change for the better they will also realized that its better most of the time to think not only for our own good but for the betterment of many, we will have a wonderful nation. Maybe if bad guys will change and starts changing their wrong doings we will never be afraid for the welfare of our next generation. If we can only see the essence of our existence we won't be doing anything wrong against other people.
Many people think that allowing children to watch this kind of movies will only lead them to become addicted to war or be violent, in my case I see it in a different way. Because I think allowing them to watch alone without us (parents) explaining to them why this heroes are fighting and what they are fighting for, the child will surely get negative thoughts. That's is why in my opinion we should not allow our children to watch alone.

Oh I thought I was gonna have to really think hard about this...
But then it hit me like a Hulk-punch to the side of the head!
How could I have over-looked the genesis of Ironman? In oh-so many ways he is the exact antithesis of what a superhero should be.
Brash, arrogant, egocentric and completely narcissistic and self obsessed...
"Somebody take this mirror away, I'm trying to enter a contest"
But we love him, right? Hang on a second...Do I mean Ironman or RDJ? Uhhhmm can anybody tell where one finishes and the other begins? Ironman played so impeccably by RDJ is what Dr Doolittle would've called a two headed pushmi-pullyu. Can you imagine them re-casting the role, a-la Batman? Nooooo way!
Oh man he is so damn cool and he is an, uber-geek...A super-nerd!
Brains, looks and cool as a polar bear wearing ray-bans and drinking a Coors. It's just not fair, right? Anytime he's not on screen you are waiting for him to return and hit ya with a skitty, witty, sarcastic burn. The most amazing part is that Tony Stark has zero super powers he's just a billionaire playboy (weeps a little) who has an Elon Musk flavoured brain and a Trump flavoured wallet and an undeniable need to show off.
There are times where you genuinely do not like him but he always charms both you and the distinctly unimpressed Pepper Potts equally. When he gets a pang of what you could almost call empathy or feeling he squashes it like a bug on the windshield, but it is too late, you already see the child-like vulnerability within and like a library book from the 1930's it simply cannot be taken back.
Yes I think his appeal is that there are no radioactive spiders necessary, no gamma radiation mishaps and zero being orphaned in hideous circumstances, oh wait his parents were assassinated by Hydra. any of us could be Ironman. Is there a metaphor there? The hero within?
Meh!
I think I have excercised my nonsensical ramblings waaaay beyond what anybody would have wished for, I'm just pleased to have someone to listen to me, ya know? like therapy. Oh should I start a whole new paragraph on the entry of Nick Fury?
Thanks for reading peeps, all that remains for me to say in the immortal, unmistakable words of Ironman is...
"To infinity and beyond!"
Oops, hang on Steemians...One second, my lady is whispering something in my ear about kids films...Buzz who?...Ahhhh damn it!
Hope I win the ostrich, if I remembered the rules correctly?

@absinkaren

My favorite marvel hero / movie is Iron Man . Actually I watched that movie for almost 12 times and still keep on watching every saturday .
He is my favorite hero because I think we can relate him as a human . Tony Stark is not naturally hero , he's an engineer who doesn't have a super power , IRON MAN was his creation it is a suite that provide a strength and special ability like other superhero . he's a genius man and people want's his ability that's why they kidnap him to make a weapon . but , he's wiser he made a suite and use it to fight crime . I like the way the suite transform , very impressive .
I'm amazed with IRON MAN because it somewhat tells us that we must not be selfish , always put in mind that if we have the ability of doing things that can either detract or help , we always have the freedom to choose the right way . do not abuse your special skill .

Prizes have been sent to the winners and here is a screenshot of the transfers

Hopefully, I will run another Marvelcentric contest because I really think that Infinity war was just masterful in its execution and story-telling.

It made Thanos, one of the biggest bad guys in the Marvel Universe someone we can relate to.

An epic THANKYOU To the biggest hero of them all @maverickinvictus AKA MavMan ;)

There is no late, when it comes to letting people know they have won SBD (I think that's a kind of Krptonite...Oops wrong universe haha)

Contests are an amazing way for those of us still trying to get our fins to work properly to incrementally increase our wallets. To receive an SBD in one shot for writing a contest entry that I had a blast doing anyway is awesome.

You my friend ROCK!

Again, thanks Mav those who run contests are actively engaging in the pay it forward movement. These contests are an absolute godsend for we plankton and we are forever grateful.

Enjoy the journey man. I hope it's super rewarding and that you get cookies :D

Hahaha awesome comment man and I like the name you gave me me haha MaveMan! Sort of a throw to where I got my name from the Megaman series of video games haha

Indeed it is a way for me to pay it forward all the contests that I have one when I was a red fish as well trying to get my bearings.

Wolverine is the best :P Doesn't take shit and puts down the baddies ;)

Oh man how I loved Logan. A brilliant swan song for a great performance by Hugh Jackman.

Looks like the consensus was Iron Man. Can't say I blame them. I liked him a lot growing up. Now that I'm an adult, not-so-much, though I'd really love to have his tech. And only a percent or two of his money. That would be nice. But mostly the tech. That would be awesome.

Congratulations with your contest. It's cool when people even participate. Wouldn't be much of a contest without people. :)

Hahhaa yeah I made it so simple and easy but there was a fear that not a lot of people would join.

Yeah at least two percent of of his assets would be awesome hahahhaa.

I love this... It encourage great enlightenment

Thanks for dropping by
