OUTREACH TO THE ORPHANAGE (THEY DESERVE THE BEST)

We are committed to helping the orphans become like children who have everything all together. We set out to give these children the best when we started the project that gives them the opportunity to start up their own businesses after the training session we are organizing for them.

Our project entails, having professionals teach and educate these children on some skills like knitting, hair styling, music, baking, programming, Handband making, beads making and writing. We recently visited the Jesus Children Missions Home where we had the opportunity to first and foremost educate the children on choosing wisely their career path. The topics treated includes:

1. Self Esteem
2. Making and building a sustainable career
3. Starting and running a business
4. Networking (A key to managing business)

It was a period of so much fun.

We had a few steemit volunteers who joined on the project.

We had a session of questions and answers after the session with the kids. After which we divided them into different groups according to their area of interest and what training they want to acquire.

The training will last for a month and donations are welcomed in other to get materials for this kids to work with.

We are poised to also provide the market for their products after training. Together we can make the desired change and help them kids get a better life.

Coincidentally, the day of the visit was same as World Menstrual Hygiene day. Sanitary pads were distributed to girls. We hope to do Korea as we get more support.
