Introducing Newcomers with Welcome Wednesdays [@steemonboarding contest]

@steemonboarding is a new multi-lingual marketing project designed to introduce content creators and curators to the Steem blockchain. WW is a new contest series aimed at discovering a handful of newcomers each Wednesday - and providing an overlap between experience levels across this growing crypto ecosystem.
Contest
Discover a Newb - Let’s face it, right now the blockchain is a tough place to be discovered and find your way. There’s a lot of empowering resources here to learn about, but it’s difficult to keep track of who knows what, when and where. With this ongoing contest we’re asking experienced Steemians (or "Welcomers") to introduce newbies in the comment section, below. Here’s how to play:
- Welcomers must have a reputation of 50+ or higher.
- Write a short (3-5 sentence) introduction about a newbie you’ve discovered [rep of 49 or lower] in the comment section, below.
- Share a link to a recent “hello” or #introduceyourself style post by that same newcomer (this newbie link must have been published within the last 6 days). Please include it along with your short introduction.
Upvote Rewards
Our curation team will browse the comment section of this post looking for inspiring and thoughtful favorites. We’ll reward both the welcomer (commenter) and the newcomer (their "hello" post). Find someone new and say hello in the comment section, below.

Hey there! I would like to give a warm welcome to my friend Maxi @sebolavy, that just started on the platform. I met him traveling in Colombia and after he went on traveling the world (and still is).

I would like to welcome @zeroxiaolei to the Steem community. She wrote a clever #introduceyourself post entitled A program ape who loves to play, eat and be grumpy.
@zeroxiaolei is a programmer who works in the education field. One of her hobbies is cooking. She said that the only thing better than cooking for other people is eating what other people have cooked for her.
My thoughts go out to her as she will be having a dental procedure this Friday (Beijing time).

Hi @sndbox. I would like you ti meet with @blockdev. His real name is Roman and he is from Brno and living in Drásov. The cause I am interested in him is he is setting up a video game test show for dtube. My first hobby is playing video games and I am really mad about it. Anything related to games attracts me so much and that's why he caught my attension. Hope he will do well in his project. He is having some language problem over his new work place, but he is dealing it well amd I respect his self-confidence.
