Steem Basic Income

Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.

Enhanced Votes Graph

We last published this graph that 'maps' the interrelationships in our member pool seven days ago. Here is our graph and analysis from last time we published it:

And here is the graph from this week. We are still targeting only 10% of our total VP to be spent on self-voting, but delivered through our regular voting bot (with voting accounts chosen dynamically for each post). That's why three more of our own program accounts are now showing in our graph.

It only shows people that regularly upvote each other or @steembasicincome, or have high subscription levels for regular upvotes that are too big for our smaller voting accounts to deliver. That makes sense, because we have over 4900 active members that are voted by ten different accounts. All of those interrelationships would be too much for this chart.

Member spotlight: @pifc

The Pay It Forward Curation contest (@pifc) is an ongoing contest-oriented curation initiative that has been running for sixty-one weeks! They offer great opportunities to earn rewards for discovering and curating quality content from new Steemians. It's a great initiative that anybody can participate in.
They offer regular SBI giveaways, along with opportunities to regularly sponsor contest winners for SBI. If you don't already know about @pifc, take a few minutes to check them out.

Sustainability Coverage and VP Management

Sustainability Coverage is currently at 77.86% and rshares reward rate is 615,102,200 per SBI unit per day. With SBD below $1.00 again, we have initiated the first couple days of conversions and look forward to seeing how they turn out.

You can help increase the sustainability coverage (and thus the rshares reward rate on regular units) by delegating to @steembasicincome or regular upvoting our updates and upvote reports.

Enrollment

If you want to get involved, or to increase the level of basic income that you receive, enrollment is pretty straightforward:

Just send 1 STEEM to @steembasicincome. Include the name of a Steemian to sponsor in the transaction memo (preceded by @). You and the person you sponsor will each receive 1 unit in the program. You can sponsor any active Steemian (except for yourself), it does not have to be a current member.

The official currency for enrollment is STEEM. If we choose to accept SBD without refunding it, you do not receive extra value for it.

Enrollments are processed automatically every 144 minutes.
