So what we need here is to start collecting a PALNET FAQ

As we announced yesterday, www.palnet.io is live and kicking!

Since then, we have received NUMEROUS questions, comments, suggestions, and some complaining.

The group that put this together spent many hours and weeks going over this with a comb, but like most things, there are always questions that pop-up that were not considered.

Since we are trying to make this as easy as possible, we are currently working on an FAQ to present.

Right now is your opportunity to ask questions, and we will answer them to the best of our ability. THIS is ONLY a collection post for questions, some may be answered here, but all will be considered for the official FAQ that will be released by @minnowsupport.

Time to fire away.

Biggest questions I had but now have answers to are as follows.

When posting on Palnet it also posts on steemit thus when you upvote you are also upvoting with your steem power. So both rewards are being used and earned Palcoin and Steem.
PalCoin Mining is sold on Steem-engine and needs to be staked to be earned. Currently payout percent is 10% of inflation (from what I can tell so far correct me if I am wrong)

I think that curation voting rules are the same wonder is out REP based on our Rep on Steem for that?

Curation is 50/50 as a test to see how well it works to bring in consumers. The argument made was that more people may vote if they will receive a larger return on curation.

I definitely think an FAQ would really help the early new-comers to the site, as I understand the general concept of it, but it'd be great to have an area discussing some of the smaller nuances that might have been missed in the hype that attracted a lot of people over here. :)

Also, having been a Steempeak user almost exclusively, is there any chance other interfaces could be setup to interact with PAL? The plain, kinda austere Steemit interface design is ok, but I definitely like a look more like that of Steempeak. :)

I heard we can with the #palnet tag post from every other dapp as well 🤔
Yesterday I made a dlike post with the tag, but it doesn't appear on palnet...
