Photo Prompts

I'm a visual kind of guy and there is much truth when they say 'a photo is worth a thousand words'. Being in the animation industry has opened my eyes to many visually pleasing artistry and I love every bit of them. Abstract, minimalistic, you name it.

I often get inspired more when I see amazing photographs of places and people. Not only that, paintings and drawings inspire me too. In this week's PHC contest, I've chosen 4 photographs to spark your creativity and to prompt you to write your own story based on the photograph you choose. You can write a story, a poem, draw, vlog or even paint, it doesn't matter which medium you use, just go wild and crazy about the idea.

I would love to see your perspective of your own creativity!

Criterias :

1. Contest entries no less than 350 words. (If you're writing a story)

2. You may use photos/illustrations to share your story.

3. You can also use other medium to tell your story. Example, painting, drawing, vlogging, poem, etc...

4. Think of a nice title for your entry post.

5. Remember to credit the photos selected.

6. Choose only 1 Photo prompt.

7. Write your best!

I could feel my dreams dying in the dust of my life as I walked down the road, and snow was covering everything, and it was cold as doom.

Crackpots in the gin houses were inviting me in, it was nothing personal, I could tell, but an invite is an invite, and I always like going in. So in I went to the one that I was closest to and sat down at the first bar I came across.

Lynne and Nikki stood at the wall. They were reading all of the notes left on the wall from previous visitors. They had heard that about people leaving notes of encouragement, love, strength in what they felt was a dark time for them. It had not been that many years before when it was acceptable for them to get married. They actually thought something might come and take it all away, again...

This story focuses on a male hero, his image visible on a billboard above the city streets...

The polar bear hunting party was not the worst of it. The reason for polar bears gathering in hunting parties was worse. New species roam the Arctic, a lot of them apex forms of life themselves, where they came from, at least. In a way, that was also the reason I was here.

During my recent trip back home to Kuala Lumpur, my hubby and I went on to enjoy some quite time alone. With the boys at school, we decided to drop by to our favorite noodle shop, Lian Heng Pan Mee at USJ 1, Subang Jaya. We’ve been following this shop since they moved from SS19 Subang Jaya where they only occupied one small section of a coffeeshop to now having their own coffeeshop in USJ1...
